Castle High, Leilehua High, Mililani High, Moanalua High & Waiakea High Schools enjoyed two weeks with their host families and experiencing life in Okinawa high schools. Mahalo to Tom Yamamoto, HUOA Vice President & Iliahi Elementary School Vice Principal and Stacy Kawamura, Curriculum Coordinator at Pearl City High for escorting our students and being their temporary “mom and dad” while in Okinawa. |
2015 will be a special year – we will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Hawaii-Okinawa Student Exchange program and will soon be accepting applications for high school students to host the students when they come for two weeks Feb. 28 – March 14th and for Hawaii studentsto participate in Phase II ----GOING TO OKINAWA!
