New episodes premiere on the first and third Saturdays of the month at 7 pm and repeat
the following Thursdays at 5 pm. on Olelo Community Media channel NATV 53 (Oceanic Cable/Spectrum) and Hawaiian Telcom 1049 sand 1053. Hawaii Okinawa Today and Hawaii Okinawa Special shows are also additionally aired on 'Olelo to fill in open timeslots at other times.

Olelo.org releases its TV schedule for about a month in advance.

2022 Television Schedule


IMPORTANT information regarding January and February schedules:
Per the latest 'Olelo policy, in 2022, 'Olelo will not allow Hawaii Okinawa Today re-runs to be aired in premiere timeslots (first and third Saturdays of the month). Instead, 'Olelo will air filler programs which may or may not be Hawaii Okinawa Today shows.

However, 'Olelo will allow the re-runs to be aired on Thursdays.

Jan 1 Sat 7 pm, Jan 6 & 13 Thurs 5 pm HOT New Year 2022 Special. Featuring highlights of performance on the Yuntaku Live! broadcast show. Guests performed virtually from Okinawa, South America, and locally.
Jan 15, Sat., 7 pm & Jan 20, Jan 27 & Feb 3, Thurs., 5 pm (Re-run) Legacy Award 2014 – Part One. The award luncheon was held at the Sheraton Waikiki Ballrooms on July 13, 2014. Five individuals were honored for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the community. This first of two shows features the opening call to celebration by Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko Hawaii and Hawaii Okinawa Creative Arts, and the presentation of honorees Jane Kaneshiro and Herbert Shimabukuro.
Feb 5, Sat., 7 pm & Feb 10 & 17, Thurs., 5 pm (Re-run) Legacy Award 2014 - Part Two The award luncheon was held at the Sheraton Waikiki Ballrooms on July 13, 2014. Five individuals were honored for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the community. This second of two shows features the presentation of honorees Kenneth Kamiya, Mamoru Kaneshiro, and Takejiro Higa.
Feb 19, Sat, 7 pm, Feb 24 & Mar 3, Thurs, 5 pm (Re-run) 2017 Legacy Award Banquet (Part One). The event was held at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom on November 12, 2017. Featured in this episode are two of the five honorees, Shinye Gima and Governor David Ige.
